Performance Program

We, “meaning” the Ontario Board Members, have decided to help out the performance side of the cattle business. There will be 2  awards given out.

The OBdAA Elite Award

Will be awarded to the top bull overall from birth to end of test. To receive this award you have to be on the BIO Program. Prize money will be $250.00.

The OBdAA Supreme Award

Will be awarded to the top bull on test from start of test to end of test.

The criteria based on: rib-eye, A.D.G., scrotum, marbling and milk. Prize money will be $150.00.

Scott Bothwell of BIO will determine which bull will receive this award. There will be an additional $100.00 per consigned animal on test. To receive this money you need to be a:

  • Paid up member                                                    
  • Bulls to be registered before Dec.31/11                                                                                           
  • Bulls on Ontario Test Station only
